VANCOUVER, BC, Sept. 24, 2026 /CNW/ -- The BC Securities Commission (BCSC) is alleging that a B.C. resident who is currently subject to a temporary order, failed to attend an interview with a BCSC investigator as required by B.C.'s Securities Act.

In July 2026, a BCSC investigator issued a summons to Peter Joseph Cishecki requiring him to give evidence at an interview at the BCSC's offices on September 15 and 16, 2026. The BCSC served the summons in person.

Cishecki did not attend his scheduled interview on either day.

The BCSC's allegations have not been proven. The Commission requires Cishecki or his counsel to appear at the BCSC's offices on November 3, 2026 if he wants to be heard before a hearing is scheduled.

A temporary order against Cishecki and two companies connected to him remains in effect.
