NEW YORK, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hydden, the identity security platform for the agentic enterprise, today announced the appointment of Charles Tango as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). As CSO, Tango will guide Hydden's strategic product direction and roadmap, keeping the technology focused on the needs of enterprise security teams. He will also lead the development of strategic technology partnerships and integrations with established industry leaders and emerging startups, while supporting Hydden's commitment to customer success.

Most recently, Tango served as CISO at Sysco, ranked No. 55 on the Fortune 500 and one of the world's largest foodservice distributors. Previously, Tango held CISO positions at Altria and Sterling National Bank, now part of Santander, and senior leadership positions at Citigroup. Throughout his career, Tango has focused on connecting cybersecurity strategy with business priorities, helping executive teams and boards understand risk, make informed decisions, and build security programs that support business objectives.

"Charles brings a perspective that's difficult to find in the cybersecurity industry," said Jai Dargan, co-founder and CEO of Hydden. "He's spent decades leading security programs inside complex global enterprises while also advising the next generation of cybersecurity companies. He understands what CISOs need, how enterprises make technology decisions, and what it takes to turn innovative technology into business value. Having someone with that combination of experience helping drive our long-term strategy is a tremendous advantage as we build the identity system of record for the agentic enterprise."

Hydden is the identity security platform built on the Identity System of Record. It provides a shared data layer that unifies identity telemetry across the enterprise, giving every security team and system the same continuously updated understanding of every human, machine, and AI agent. That intelligence reveals identity risk as it emerges, gives the SOC the context to understand and contain threats, and enables access control directly in Hydden or using the security tools teams already own.

"After 25 years working with boards, CEOs, and security leaders, I've learned that the biggest cybersecurity challenges aren't always about technology. They're about understanding where the risks are, who owns them, and how to make informed decisions," said Tango. "Identity is at the center of many of those challenges, yet most enterprises still struggle to get a complete picture of their identity landscape. Hydden has an opportunity to change that. I'm excited to help shape the company's strategy, strengthen its technology ecosystem, and help organizations take a more informed approach to identity security."

In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Tango is an active investor and advisor to early-stage cybersecurity and AI companies. He works with leading venture capital firms, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Bloccelerate, Lytical Ventures, SYN Ventures, and Strategic Cyber Ventures, helping founders identify operational gaps, refine business strategies, and navigate the challenges of scaling their companies.
