Abrams, M.D. as Chief Medical Officer. A world-renowned shoulder surgeon and past president of two of the most influential societies in orthopedics, Dr. Abrams will guide Pristine's clinical strategy, medical education, and surgeon engagement as the company scales its 4K single-use platform nationwide.
Dr. Abrams brings four decades of clinical and academic leadership to the role. He is a past president of both the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES) and the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), and served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He is Medical Director of Princeton Orthopaedic Associates, Chief of Shoulder Surgery at SportsMedicine Princeton, a senior attending surgeon at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center, Clinical Professor at Seton Hall University, and Clinical Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania. He has edited multiple leading textbooks on arthroscopic shoulder surgery and lectured worldwide on advanced arthroscopic techniques.
Dr. Abrams steps into the role held by Dr. Stephen J. Snyder, the innovator responsible for the design and development of Pristine's disposable 4K arthroscope. Dr. Snyder will continue with the company as Ambassador.
